It has been a while since our last post on this blog, so we shall do so with new beginnings. But first, a recap of last year.Despite our issues with lawnmowers, missed deadline for building the castle on the field, and an affiliated tournament team/field relationship gone wrong due to lack of team acknowledgment of field rules....I'd say we had a great year. The end of season was particularly awesome. We took lots of great photos and video, to which I'll be using in the making of our multi-DVD compilation of the past few years. We've made a lot of appreciated friends and have been acquainted with many. The donations to the field, both in time helping as well as monetary/material donations, have
helped tremendously despite how little it may seem. We take pride in the fact that we are the only "fair play" field in Michiana that won't break your wallet, and that many have expressed to us how much fun they have. So in all, I would like to thank everyone for their support and everything they've added to our mission.This year we are bringing up a line of products hosting photos and g
raphics from our field. A couple exclusive items will be posted on the "Products" page, as well as our best available on our "Club e-Store" link. If you find a photo on our site of you or your friends that you would like to have put on a shirt, hooded pull-over, jacket, tank-top, jersey, sweatshirt, polo shirt, bags, mouse pads, poster or calendar...just let us know and we'll custom design it for you! en you come out!The Castle.... Yes, we will be building a castle this year, most likely earlier in the year, but will be solely dependent on when we are able to get all the supplies we need. I don't want to put a deadline on it like we did last year, at a bad time. I'm working with a few people, one is a construction company that most likely will be donating some...but we'll see. The location of the castle, de
spite earlier planning for it to be centered on the field, will be located center-field and off to the side. This location is right where you have seen (if you've been to our field before) the big hole on the side of the field for the unfinished covered pill-box. We will actually be moving that pil
l-box to the other side, over by the entrance to the field.
Our first game of the season, posted as Sunday on April 20th 2008, will run from 1-7pm and will be hosting a cookout ($5/person per meal) as well as free field entry, free rentals, and free HPA rentals (limited supply) and CO2 fills (limit two large tanks / three small tanks per person).
